In our work as doctors, we see heroic caregivers every day. But most of them don’t feel like heroes. We learn from them every day and want to give them something back.
Our jobs are a problem-solving, see-you-as-you-are, meet-you-where-you-are type of medical specialty. Most caregivers don’t have time for a banquet, they need a great sandwich.
We noticed nobody else had assembled the information we wanted to share, so we did it ourselves. We are in this noble mess with you, so we share information based on our experience and curiosity. Mostly our goal is to be helpful to you.
Like most things in life, knowledge and perspective help you to be successful in the face of difficulty. More specifically, our experience is that coaching is essential to getting better when there’s no instruction manual. Coaching involves hearing from someone who has been through this before and noticed patterns. Someone who can see things that are in your blind spots. Someone who is willing to spend energy on your success.
We are still learning every day. Please let us know at [chef@caresandwich.com] when you see things that are missing, appear wrong or are off in some way.
We offer a clickbait-free menu. We don’t serve up lobbying. We’re not passing off information for a particular policy group. We won’t bother you with surveys. We do sprinkle on advertising – only as much as is necessary.
